This English translation is provided for convenience only: in the event of any discrepancy, the Italian version prevails.
In brief
This policy applies to anyone who visits the website and anyone who writes to us using the form on the Contact page, for any type of request. For some requests, the specific privacy notices listed in section 3 also apply.
The company does not install visitor analytics tools, advertising pixels or profiling tools on the website.
The only third-party service subject to consent is Google Maps on the property pages: without your consent, the map is not loaded. You can change your choice at any time via the “Cookie preferences” link.
Requests sent via the form reach the company’s email inbox and are also stored on the website, for the periods indicated in section 3.

| Retention | For the period set by the hosting service’s settings; longer only if needed to investigate misuse or an incident, for as long as necessary. |
Fonts and other graphic elements of the pages are loaded from the website’s own server. We do not use tools that measure visits, display advertising or translate pages through external services.
03 · Contact page form
The form collects your first name, last name, email, phone number if you choose to provide it, and the text of your message. We use this data to handle your request and get back to you. Browsing also involves the processing of technical data described in section 2. Each request reaches the company inbox info@theroyalre.com and is stored in the website database. It can be accessed only by the people authorised to handle requests and by the person who manages the website, within the limits of the tasks assigned to them. No consent is required to respond to your request. The fields marked as mandatory are needed to handle it; without the necessary data we may not be able to reply.
| Type of request | Legal basis | Retention |
|---|---|---|
| Information about a property owned by the company, viewings, property searches | Pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Specific privacy notice: “Property requests and viewings” (in Italian). | As set out in the specific notice: if there is no follow-up, deletion within 12 months of receipt; otherwise up to 24 months from the last actual contact regarding the search. |
| Offer to sell a property to the company | Pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Specific privacy notice: “Property sale offers” (in Italian). | As set out in the specific notice. |
| Offers of services, quotes and collaborations from suppliers and professionals | Pre-contractual measures or contract, if the sender is a party to the relationship (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR); the company’s legitimate interest in evaluating the offer, for business contacts (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). | Up to 12 months from the last contact, if no relationship arises; otherwise for the duration of the relationship and related obligations. |
| Other requests, for example general information or reports | The company’s legitimate interest in responding to those who contact it (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). | Up to 12 months from the reply. |
| Requests concerning your own personal data | Legal obligation to respond (Art. 6(1)(c) and Arts. 12–22 GDPR). | For as long as necessary to document the response, in accordance with the company’s internal procedure. |
Copies of requests stored in the website database and in notification emails follow the same periods. If a request leads to negotiations or a contract, the necessary data is transferred to the management of that relationship and you will be given the dedicated privacy notice.
Form protection. To prevent automated submissions, the form uses a control field that is invisible to visitors, managed by the website itself, without an external anti-spam service. The legal basis is the company’s legitimate interest in protecting the form from misuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
04 · Cookie preferences
The banner and the preferences panel are provided by iubenda S.r.l. When you make a choice, the website records your preferences in your browser using a technical cookie, which does not require consent, and iubenda keeps a record of your choice, in order to apply it on subsequent visits and to be able to demonstrate that it has been respected.
| Legal basis | The company’s legitimate interest in recording, and being able to demonstrate, the choices made (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, in conjunction with Art. 7(1) GDPR). |
| Retention | The duration of cookies and the retention of the records of your choices are described in the cookie policy. The technical renewal of a cookie’s expiry date does not constitute new consent. |
05 · Google Maps, only with your consent
On the property pages, the map showing the property’s location is loaded from Google’s servers only after you consent to the “Experience” purpose. Without consent, the map is not loaded.
| What the provider receives | When the map loads, your browser sends Google your IP address, technical browser data and the page visited; Google may read or store its own cookies on your device and also use them for its own purposes, as described on Google’s page “How Google uses cookies”. |
| Role of the provider | Google processes this data as an independent controller, for the purposes and in the manner set out in the Google Terms of Service, the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. The company decides to embed the map in the property pages and to load it only after consent, and does not receive the data collected by Google. |
| Legal basis | Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Art. 122 of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003), which you can withdraw at any time via the “Cookie preferences” link, without affecting your ability to browse the website and send requests. |
